How LicensePlateToll Works

If your vehicle doesn’t have an ExpressToll transponder, your toll is applied using your license plate. Our cameras capture an image of your plate as you drive through a toll point, and a statement is mailed to the DMV‑registered owner of the vehicle. It’s straightforward, accurate, and designed to keep you moving.

How ExpressToll Works

With an ExpressToll account, drivers register their vehicle information and receive a transponder to place in their car. When they pass through a tolling point, the transponder is read automatically and the toll is billed straight from their prepaid account balance.
