Since 2016, we’ve been widening the corridor, improving traffic flow, and building long‑term reliability into every mile. Along the way, we’ve also built more than 12.5 miles of the High Plains Trail as part of our widening projects—another investment in how our communities move.

Project Timeline:
- The second phase of this project, widening between I-70 to 104th Ave., was completed as of November 2025
- The third phase, between 104th Ave. to US-85, is scheduled to begin in late 2026

E470 puts toll revenue to work by investing in the road’s future. While we build, safety is our top priority—for you and for our crews. Setting up and removing traffic control takes time, and it can create unexpected slowdowns.
